Happy Monday ya'll. It was a crazy weekend and while I planned on creating outfit posts, I sadly allowed life and a little stress to get in the way of a in home photo shoot. I somehow still found time to stalk pinterest... here are some drool-worthy outfits that I hope to recreate asap!

saturday style crush: lucy hale
This weeks style crush is little miss Lucy Hale. She is one of the stars of my favorite "dirty secret" tv show (yes! its true, I watch) Pretty Little Liars and is a front-runner in young Hollywood.
While Lucy is young, she is on my crush worthy list because of this quote: "I am still finding my signature style - there nothing I wouldn't try." Something that I think we can all relate to! I know that I am still learning what I like and how to wear it, so the fact that Hale is open about her search for coining her fashion footprint is refreshing.
Another thing I like about Lucy, the girl's got some curves! She looks like a healthy young lady, she looks attainable and I am happy to have a girl like this, as well as the rest of the cast of PLL, representing young girls... I'm glad that my god-daughter sees this girl once a week on TV rather than someone with an impossible to achieve skeletor look.
What do you like about Lucy's look? Do you watch Pretty Little Liars?
i am partnering w/ Vans Custom Culture
M'kay love bunnies... I have some pretty amazing news! I was recently approached by Vans... yea, ya know, that teeny tiny little shoes company to promote something that is completely amazing! As you may know from reading the blog, I recently listed
Rachel Bilson as one of the Saturday Style Crush stars.
Vans is currently in the middle of their third annual Vans Custom Culture Contest for high school art students to inspire creativity and award winners with $50,000 to support art in schools!
As a future educator, you can guess that I jumped at the chance to work with Vans on such an amazing project! Check out the shoes designed Rachel Bilson, the current Vans Custom Culture Ambassador, as well as other designs created by Trina Turk, Lauren Conrad, Kristen Stewart, and Lucy Hale.
Be sure to visit http://www.vans.com/customculture/ to check out how to enter and read up on all the rules, also... pass this post around so that you can get as many people talking about Vans and the Custom Culture event!
i got had! now, see the REAL march photo challenge
I recently got a Twitter direct message saying that I supported an impostor... I was skeptical to click the link because, well you never know when its spam or a virus or whatever. But after much hesitation I clicked and found out that the March Photo a Day Challenge that I thought I had found was actually a fake and not created by its originator. I feel bad that I unknowingly promoted a fake, but I am happy that the tweet lead me to a new blog and the original creator of the popular Photo a Day Challenges.

saturday style crush: ashley olsen
Apologies if any of the above are not actually Ashley, what a terrible snafu that would be! Either way, both of those Olsen twins are stylish...
Why am I into Ashley right now? Effortlessly Chic.
I picked these looks because each one is simple and effortless yet incredibly stylish and chic. I really enjoy seeing celebs in simple looks, I think that the more attainable the outfit the more I can relate to that particular celebrity. I think Ashley (and also Mary-Kate) always looks great on the red carpet, but here in pants and shorts I think she looks chic, approachable, and also a little comfy (even in those leather pants!)
What is your favorite look by Mary-Kate and/or Ashley?

spring florals (i can hardly wait!)
Soon enough it will be Spring and with that comes the reintroduction of flirty little floral dresses! I dont know about you all, but my ghostly pale legs are dying for a little Vitamin D and the chance to frolic around town in something sweet and charming! I found a few dresses that I think are perfectly Spring and I wanted to share them with you...
Now, shop these looks and wear them out on a fun little date, as always my picks are under $50 so that you dont have buyer's remorse! Where will you be wearing your Spring florals?
